One light color, 1 medium and one dark color. Buy a simple $3.00 brush.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Apply the&amp;nbsp;light tone color first. After you coat it go directly back with a dry brush. Let it dry and paint the medium tone on. This will pull back the color and allow depth of grain to appear as you apply the third color.
